ED medicine brands in the Philippines
Tadah Forte (tadalafil) in the Philippines
Tadah Forte is a tadalafil brand listed for the Philippines. What it contains, how to check its FDA registration, its price status and Cialis compared.
Short answer
Tadah Forte is a brand of tadalafil, the active ingredient in Cialis, listed among the Philippine tadalafil brands on MIMS. It is a prescription medicine.
We have not yet verified a pharmacy price for Tadah Forte, so we do not show one; we are checking with pharmacies. For reference, the cheapest verified tadalafil 20 mg is ₱395 (Torfil, Watsons).
What is Tadah Forte?
Tadah Forte is tadalafil sold under a brand name. Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, the same family as sildenafil: it relaxes the blood vessels in the penis so that blood can flow in when you are aroused. Its defining feature is how long it works, up to about 36 hours, which is why it is sometimes called the "weekend pill".
MIMS Philippines, the drug reference used by most local doctors, lists Tadah Forte among the tadalafil brands available here. We have not found a public source we can cite for its maker, so we will not name one. The manufacturer and the registration holder are listed on its FDA Philippines product registration and printed on the box.
"Forte" is a word used on many medicine packs to mean a stronger version of a product. It is not a strength in itself, so check the milligrams printed on the pack. Our tadalafil guide explains the medicine in depth.
Is Tadah Forte registered with the FDA Philippines?
You can check this on the FDA Verification Portal at verification.fda.gov.ph. Choose drug products, then search "Tadah" or "tadalafil". Each registered product appears with its registration number, the holder, the manufacturer and the strength.
We have not quoted a registration number because we have not seen one we can cite, and the portal is always current. Match its details to your box. If the pack does not appear on the portal, or the details differ, or it came from a seller who did not ask for a prescription, do not use it. ED medicines are a common target for counterfeiters, and the FDA Philippines has issued advisories about fake versions; our page on fake ED pills explains the warning signs.
How much is Tadah Forte in the Philippines?
We have not yet found a Tadah Forte price we can verify against a pharmacy's own listing, so we do not publish one. We are checking with pharmacies and will add it once confirmed.
No verified price yet. We are re-checking this one with pharmacies. See all verified prices.
In the meantime, you can compare against the tadalafil prices we have verified. Generic Torfil 20 mg was ₱395 a tablet at Watsons, and Cialis 20 mg was ₱985.25 at the same chain. Generics are usually priced well below Cialis. If a pharmacist quotes you a price, ask whether it is per tablet or per box. See the tadalafil price page and all verified prices.
What strengths does Tadah Forte come in?
We have not confirmed the strengths of Tadah Forte from a source we can cite. The FDA Philippines portal lists every registered strength, and the milligrams are printed on the pack.
Tadalafil as a medicine is made in 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg tablets. It is used either on demand or as a low dose every day. Which approach suits you, and at what strength, is decided by your doctor; see daily tadalafil for how the daily option works.
Tadah Forte vs Cialis: is there a difference?
The active ingredient is the same: tadalafil. A generic registered in the Philippines must show bioequivalence, meaning it delivers the same amount of tadalafil to the blood, at about the same rate, as the original Cialis.
What can differ:
- Price. Generics are usually far cheaper. At 20 mg, the verified gap between the cheapest and priciest tadalafil is about 3 times.
- Maker. Cialis is the originator, first marketed by Lilly. Tadah Forte is from another company, named on its registration.
- Look and fillers. Tablet colour, shape and inactive ingredients differ. They do not change how the medicine works.
- Availability. Cialis is stocked at the big chains; smaller brands like Tadah Forte may only be stocked at some branches or pharmacies.
How is tadalafil different from sildenafil?
Both work the same way, but tadalafil lasts much longer and is less affected by a heavy meal. Sildenafil works for about 4 to 6 hours; tadalafil for up to about 36.
That longer window suits some men and couples, while others prefer the shorter action of sildenafil. Tadalafil also more often causes back pain and muscle aches. Our sildenafil vs tadalafil page compares them side by side, including the cost per dose.
What are the side effects of Tadah Forte?
The side effects are those of any tadalafil. Common ones are headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing and a stuffy nose, usually settling within a day or two.
Serious effects are rare but need urgent care: an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden loss of vision or hearing, or chest pain. Because tadalafil stays in the body for a long time, tell any emergency doctor if you have taken it in the past two days, as nitrates must not be given with it. How do you get a prescription for Tadah Forte?
You need a prescription from a licensed doctor, either face to face or through a telehealth consultation. A doctor can also tell you whether a widely stocked tadalafil such as Torfil would be easier to find near you.
Our guide to whether Viagra is over the counter explains the prescription rules for all ED medicines, and online ED consultations compares the services. The consultation is also a chance to check blood sugar and blood pressure, since ED is often linked to diabetes and hypertension.
